Connect Perplexity
Add Bauhow as a custom remote connector in Perplexity.
Perplexity offers custom remote connectors for Pro, Max, and Enterprise accounts. The connection originates from Perplexity’s cloud and uses the public Bauhow URL https://mcp.bauhow.com/mcp.
Setup
Prepare Bauhow
Make sure MCP is enabled under Settings → Workspace → MCP server and copy the MCP server URL.
Add a connector
In Perplexity, open Settings → Connectors and select + Custom connector.
Configure the remote server
Select Remote, use Bauhow as the name, and paste https://mcp.bauhow.com/mcp. Choose Streamable HTTP and OAuth. You do not need a client ID or client secret.
Acknowledge the risk
Accept the security notice for custom connectors and save the connection.
Complete OAuth
Open the Bauhow connector, sign in to Bauhow, choose the workspace on the Allow access page, and approve.

Team and organization access
Enterprise admins can decide whether members may add custom connectors. Depending on your Perplexity settings, you can add the connector for yourself or share it with the organization. Each person should authorize it with their own Bauhow account and choose their workspace.
